Calling experienced Consumer PR Account Managers or Senior Account Managers who excel in PR Strategy and client relationships.


We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join a global leading agency to manage a portfolio of well-known B2C clients.


If you have experience working on campaigns and events with high profile press, talent and influencers and have worked on global and local projects – this is your chance to WOW!


The role reports into a Business Director and offers hybrid working – 3 days in London office/WFH split with core hours.


CORE SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES


Manage Client Accounts: Oversee a portfolio of client accounts by developing and executing PR strategies, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring client satisfaction. Serve as the day-to-day point of contact, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and anticipating their needs.


Media Relations and Coverage: Secure coverage for brands across a broad range of publications, leveraging strong media contacts and a deep understanding of the UK media landscape to deliver successful brand storytelling in a cluttered and noisy space.


Campaign Development and Performance: Develop and deliver presentations and reports to clients, including campaign performance updates, new business proposals, and strategic recommendations. Monitor and analyze campaign performance using data to inform decision-making and optimize effectiveness.


Collaborative Presentations: Take an active role in presenting PR ideas and successes to cross-marketing agency teams, providing a POV on effective strategies for earned media with support from senior PR team members.


Budget Management: Ensure the profitability of client accounts by managing project budgets effectively.


Industry Insights and Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, sharing insights and recommendations with clients and internal teams. Demonstrate creative problem-solving abilities and non-linear thinking to approach tasks innovatively and co-create inspiring ways to present work.


Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and develop junior team members, offering guidance and support as needed.


Compliance and Process Management: Ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures, including timesheets, invoicing, and project management tools.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong media contacts and a solid understanding of the UK media landscape - someone that can deliver coverage and successful brand storytelling in a cluttered and noisy space
  • Tapped into culture and able to help advise clients on moments, partnerships, and reactive opportunities
  • Proven track record of managing complex campaigns, developing strategic plans, and delivering results for clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated experience in building consistently productive relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and have strong project management skills
  • Able to think creatively and bring new ideas to the table that will help drive client success
  • Experience working with influencers in an earned, paid, and owned capacity is desired
  • Demonstrates ability for creative problem solving in approaching every task - whether that's identifying a way to improve the internal process or co-creating an inspiring way to sell in the work
  • Able to consider different angles on a brief – a non-linear thinker
  • Experience in a fast-paced agency environment working on both global and local projects is preferred


Our client is offering a salary of £45k + benefits for an initial 12-month FTC with potential of being extended/going perm.
