About the Role

WildBrain CPLG is looking for a Publishing Approvals Manager to join our Creative Services team! A key link to our Brand Partners, you will work with the Creative Services Director and Head of PD on global brands, the role requires good experience, high level of attention to detail and love of print design.

The Publishing Approvals Manager will review all submissions from publishers to review for brand compliance and providing timely feedback. This position will work closely with our product development team and Brand Partners, delivering compelling Publishing material, impactful brand statements and campaigns across multiple regions - e.g. Benelux, CEE, Nordics, Russia, Italy, UK.

Job Description

Creative Support to Publishing Partners

  • Ownership of the Publishing Approvals Board and Calendar via frequent contact with Licensees and their publishing plans helping to maintain development schedules.
  • Overview all submissions from publishers to review for adherence to guidelines and providing timely feedback, including Original Content, Pickups and Amended Pickups.
  • Build strong relationships within our brand Partners including Paramount and Hasbro.
  • Onboard and run sessions with new/existing licensees.
  • Deliver weekly updates to the local commercial team including reports noting Licensee developments, status, and asset updates.
  • Generate creative guidance where applicable, keeping up to date with any graphical trends.

Asset and Licensor Management

  • Assistance in the development and shared awareness of Publishing plans.
  • Handling of Rush requests maintaining timelines.
  • Supporting Retail promotions with relevant assets.
  • Cover mount approval/development in collaboration with Licensors and in-house design teams.

Project Management

  • Weekly/Monthly Calls and Feedback sessions with licensors/ees acting as point of contact for any issues.
  • Handling of Asset order forms.
  • Awareness of new assets and Brand Planning/Activations.

Qualifications

  • A good appreciation for the properties and storytelling print -based applications.
  • Adaptable & flexible with experience working in dynamic environment
  • A love of Graphics/Print
  • Process driven/Methodical approach
  • Familiar with online approvals platforms e.g. Tracker Plus, Brainbase
  • Adobe - Illustrator/Indesign knowledge highly desirable
