Wood is recruiting for a Publishing Assistant/Electronic Publisher to join their Electronic Publishing Department.
The Electronic Publishing Department is based in Aberdeen; however, we recognise the value of remote and hybrid working so are open to applications throughout the UK.

The Role
This role involves providing electronic publishing services to internal and external clients in order to meet strict specification/deliverable requirements whilst ensuring that quality standards are maintained. This role involves working closely with members of other departments within Wood.

Within the Electronic Publishing department we support clients from many sectors, mainly Oil and Gas and energy companies. Our customers are global, and the project locations spread internationally.

Typical responsibilities
  • Provides electronic publishing services to internal and external clients in order to meet strict specification/deliverable requirements whilst ensuring that quality standards are maintained
  • Manages their work in a timely manner and in accordance with instructions and priorities advised by the Electronic Publishing Team Lead
  • Manages data in a controlled and efficient manner in accordance with departmental working practices as advised by the Electronic Publishing Team Lead
  • Contributes to the ongoing development of working practices through feeding back relevant information/suggestions to the appropriate parties
  • Maintains job-specific and company records in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Adheres to clear file structures and manages electronic files, ensuring an auditable, electronic trail for all work undertaken
