What you’ll be doingSupport Nursery colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS, by engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones, and ensuring their safety throughout the dayWork as part of a larger team, to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands i.e. hygiene standards and room preparationPromote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguardingWork with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment What we’re looking forPrevious experience working with children ideal but not essential – such as Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nanny, Childminder or similarPassion for making learning fun and engaging for each childAbility to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adultsSound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of childrenAbility to be flexible and adaptable We look forward to receiving your application!
