8:30-17:30 Mon-Thurs

8:30-3:45 Fri

The Salary:

£35,000 to £45,000 DOE

The Job Role:

We have a brilliant opportunity available for an experienced Quality, Health and Safety Manager to join our client's thriving manufacturing organisation. Our client has an excellent reputation within their sector and provides a fantastic place to work for their team.

As the business continues to grow, our client is looking for a Quality, Health and Safety Manager to help take the business to the next level in quality and health and safety efficiency. The successful role holder will deliver improvements throughout the business, suggest changes, and embed them into the company culture. This is a fantastic role for candidates who are looking for continuous growth within a thriving organisation.

Reporting into the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team, the successful candidate will enjoy a varied role including the following duties:

  • Reviewing current Quality and Health and Safety across the business
  • Suggesting areas for improvement
  • Providing reports and information to the Managing Director and SLT
  • Overseeing ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
  • Successfully embedding change throughout the business

We would love to hear from candidates who have the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable experience working within QHSE
  • Strong experience delivering efficiency improvements within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • H&S Qualification
  • NEBOSH or IOSH
  • Experience working in modern manufacturing methodologies and process improvements including Six Sigma, Lean Tools, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, TPM, ToC
  • Strong understanding of QHSE principles, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Ability to manage change effectively
  • High attention to detail
  • A degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field would be advantageous
