Responsibilities


The role with primarily be focused on planning and coordinating upcoming projects and supporting the Quality & Reliability Programme Managers. The purpose of the role is to support the planning & managing of reliability programs by providing a specialist project management capability. The main deliverable is project management support to the Programme Managers.


• Supporting the development of plans and budgets for vehicle reliability testing programs

• Maintenance of existing program plans and budgets • Agreeing, specifying and ordering reliability vehicles

• Supporting the Coordination of day to day programme management tasks

• Responsible for the maintenance of key project documents

Analysis of issues and verification of solutions

• Maintain key project documents to support correct progress of all programmes.

• Agreeing, specifying and ordering the reliability vehicles. • Support the monitoring of key project deliverables to Reliability Testing.

• Escalate / prioritise project issues with potential high to the programme managers

• Monitor reliability testing vehicle status and create weekly reports ready to be issued.

• Monitor project spend to ensure agreed budgets are adhered to.

• Internal process improvement project.


Required skills

• Experience with Whole Vehicle Testing processes and methods

• Experience with Engineering Vehicle Development Processes (PEP)

• Experience with understanding detailed Whole Vehicle Testing requirements and estimating required resources and costs.

• Experience working Cross Functionally with strong influencing skills

• Experience with assessing planned technical changes to vehicles and determining testing requirements

• Excellent planning skills

• Good PC Skills Microsoft Excel, VBA, Power point. Tableau experience is beneficial.


Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent.

• Current driving licence.
