Job Description
Our client is an international supplier of fruits based in Normanton WF6 and they are looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Assistants to join their team.
Hours of work are 6.45am 4.00pm. There are different shifts patterns available, e.g. Sunday - Thursday, Tuesday - Saturday with the possibility of part - time hours.
Main duties will involve:
Ensure products meet specification and Food Safety objectives are met
Ensure quality standards are met for the companys customers by following customer specifications, reporting non-conformances to the QA Manager
Check box and box end labels print and markings for clarity and correctness, to ensure all packaging specifications are met and document findings
Daily completion of paperwork
Assist with the enforcement of all Food Safety Programs (GMPs, BRC, Organic and other)
Assist Line Supervisors with the development, coaching and support of packing staff
Complete all reports as and when required (vermin reports, rejection reports, reporting of correct data to customs on test weights, organized and systematic filing of records, ARI reports)
Pay rate is £10.86 per hour + overtime
