Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Droitwich, UK

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus and Benefits Package
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team at our
Droitwich location. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring
built-in quality and personal quality, tracking data related to quality
metrics, managing warranty and service work feedback.
The ideal candidate should have an engineering degree or equivalent and a
minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure built-in quality and personal quality in all our manufacturing
processes.
• Track and analyse data related to quality metrics to continuously improve our processes.
• Manage warranty and service work feedback, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
• Work with purchasing on supplier quality, ensuring that all our suppliers meet our quality standards.
• Manage calibration of on-site and off-site equipment, ensuring that all equipment is operating at peak performance.
• Understand schematic diagrams and technical drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Proven experience of ISO 9001 Quality Systems and ISO certification essential.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Engineering degree or equivalent essential.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience implementing quality standards within an electro-mechanical bespoke manual build environment.
• Proven experience of ISO 9001 Quality Systems and ISO certification essential.
• Understanding of capturing and using data to influence the manufacturing build processes.
• Visual Management and Lean Manufacturing techniques advantageous.
• Continuous Improvement experience essential.
• Good communication skills.
