Interim Opportunity: Site Quality Manager

We are currently seeking a talented QA Manager to join a leading global FMCG company located in Buckinghamshire on an interim basis. In this role, you will oversee Quality Assurance and Site Food Safety activities within the manufacturing plant, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the QA team and serve as the primary point of contact for any queries.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance.
- Act as the advocate for the Quality team within the broader business, promoting a culture of QA and Food Safety excellence.
- Manage the performance and development of the QA team on site.
- Lead incident management processes through effective training and coaching.
- Proactively implement and maintain standards in regulatory, customer, and third-party logistics (3PL) requirements.
- Manage the quality budget and ensure financial controls are maintained at the plant.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in a Quality Manager role is essential.
- Ideally possess experience in the food industry or hold a food-based degree.
- HACCP Level 3 certification is a must.
- Strong understanding of leading QA practices within a manufacturing plant setting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, JDE, or Navision would be highly advantageous.
