Job Description

Falcon Green is working with an international tier one main contractor that is focused on delivering complex, large scale life sciences and mission critical projects across Europe and further afield. Due to planned and continued growth, they now require a competent QA/QC Manager on a new data centre project in mainland Europe.

As Quality Assurance Manager you will be liaising with the site teams, subcontractors, external stakeholders and client to ensure quality is adhered to from conception right through to handover. The ideal candidate will come from similar background, have experience working on large mechanical and electrical packages and have 4+ years in a quality focused role.

You would be joining a company that is renowned as a market leader in the industry and with annual turnover set to reach the €2 billion mark next year, they are well positioned to continue their market dominance. The orderbook is already full for the coming years with all of their closest clients still as busy as ever.

Quality Assurance Manager Responsibilities:

  • Management, implementation, and maintenance of ISO9000/2000 & to ISO 14001
  • Develop quality plans, manuals, documents, and systems.
  • Work with our Client to ensure that their Quality standards & procedures are successfully submitted, approved & implemented against agreed timelines.
  • Completion of Audits.
  • Advise Management on QA issues.
  • Ensure that all documentation and certification is complete and checked prior to final handover.
  • Attend and co-ordinate weekly meetings with the client, subcontractors & suppliers.
  • Documents Control - Reviewing and revising documentation to incorporate changes to company policies and objectives, to stay in line with ISO 9000/2000.
  • Reporting and ensuring that the current QA/QC procedures used on projects are standardized and integrated into the Company QA/QC Manual.

Requirements for the role:

  • A relevant Third Level or Professional Qualification
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within strict deadlines.
  • Excellent work and personal ethics that include trustworthiness, commitment, and empathy.
  • Detail driven
  • Ability to produce quality written reports.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
