We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager (Health, Safety & Fire) to join our expanding QA team. In this role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality reports to our clients and provide essential guidance and training to our consultants. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining in-house quality procedures, standards, and specifications, ensuring the highest standards are met.

the role would be a working at home with very occasional trips to the office/site (London) They can also accommodate some flexibility in working hours as well.

This position is paying £48k-52k DOE

Scope of Role

This role is closely related to the role of health, safety, and fire consultants. The QA Manager will ensure that the report produced by health, safety and fire consultants meet legislative, regulatory, and best practice requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure high-quality reports are issued to clients.
Provide guidance and training to consultants to enhance report quality.
Determine and maintain in-house quality procedures, standards, and specifications.
Support consultants in producing flawless technical reports.
Ensure that reports meet legislative requirements as well as best practice standards.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of reports and implement improvements as necessary.
Stay updated on relevant laws, standards, guidelines, and technical developments.
Provide leadership in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives as part of the wider QA team.
Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience within the health, safety, and fire sectors.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
Excellent communication and training skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with consultants, fellow QA managers and other stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Relevant qualifications in health, safety, and fire e.g. Level 6 Health & Safety & Level 3/4 Fire risk Assessor or equivalent.
Professional body membership e.g. CertIOSH/CMIOSH, MIFSM, TIFireE/MIFireE or similar.
Relevant experience/qualification in quality assurance is highly desirable.
Relevant experience in SP205 third party certification requirements for fire risk assessments is highly desirable
