Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) LeadContract Type: Permanent Location: London Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based Closing date: 2nd September 2024 Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) have an opportunity for a QA Lead to join the team and feed into the over-arching test strategy for RLAM. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of QA to lead and manage a Quality Assurance function to provide an effective testing framework. Whilst working as a hands-on QA Lead, you will also hold leadership and line management responsibilities for some team members. About the role Determine the best test approach for project and business changes that also meet the required levels of control for quality, risk, and audit purposes. Contribute to the testing framework and procedures to implement a consistent approach for route to production for software development and system integration. Feed into project streams the duration and needs of a testing function and assist in determining the testing approach for each project. Give input to the framework to deliver re-usable test plans and record test evidence for systems and applications. About you Experience with automated testing methods is essential. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work with key teams including IT, project, users, and fund managers. Agile experience is essential. Experience in Asset Management is preferred, but experience from other trading arenas may be acceptable. Knowledge and experience of Testing tools and frameworks. Positive can-do attitude with the desire to identify and resolve issues across the whole software delivery process, not just within QA, or to influence change in other areas. Ability to perform under pressure and prioritise tasks appropriately.
