QC Analyst

Whilst the duties may seem routine – testing pharmaceutical and personal care products using GC, HPLC and various wet chemistry techniques – the environment will offer the opportunity to fine tune and learn new skills in the chemistry laboratory. Therefore, this is a perfect opportunity for someone who may still be looking to further develop some of these analytical skills.
The role is a 37.5hr working week Mon-Fri. At least two hires will be made in this round of recruitment.
Key experience:
- Previous QC or analytical chemistry experience essential
- Must have worked within a GMP or GLP setting
- An understanding of raw materials and finished product testing
- Experience in some of the following will be important – HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR
- A solid foundation of wet chemistry skills
- Degree (or equivalent) in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry or an associated subject
