This crucial role is the cornerstone of maintaining the company's commitment to excellence, ensuring that each product meets the highest quality standards. With a meticulous eye for detail, the successful candidate will spearhead the development and execution of inspection activities, identify and resolve issues, and achieve commendable outcomes that uphold the reputation of our client.

Responsibilities include crafting and overseeing quality control and assurance procedures, ensuring contractual requirements are fulfilled with precision. The role demands the formulation of a comprehensive quality plan, complete with directives and instructions to support its execution. The Quality Control Engineer will also evaluate enquiry documents, summarise quality documentation for quotations, and maintain product specifications and process procedures.

The role extends to reviewing concessions, handling non-conformances, and managing quality plans for contracts. The successful candidate will validate documentation as per the quality plan, support production with process training, and ensure QA/QC specifications align with current standards and design codes such as KBM, ASME, Norsok, and API.

Candidates must possess a Degree or Advanced/Higher Apprenticeship in Engineering or Quality, or equivalent job experience, with at least 5 years in a similar Quality Engineer role within a manufacturing environment. A robust understanding of ASME quality standards, the ability to interpret engineering drawings, and exceptional organisational skills are essential. A full driving license, a valid UK passport, and the willingness to travel abroad are also required.
