An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director of Care, Quality and Compliance to join our client's inclusive and welcoming team. This full-time Group Director Care role is based in Bromley, Kent, and comes with a generous salary and benefits package. You will be reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will be responsible for developing and embedding quality governance, assurance and reporting mechanisms.

As a Group Director of Care, you will be an inspiring leader, playing a pivotal role in continuously improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the team. You will deliver excellent customer service, working cooperatively with the executive management team and our regional leaders and their teams. The success of this role and team is dependent on the ability of this leader to integrate the mission of each care home and home care, led by their respective Regional Operations Directors along with the care, quality and compliance team.

In your first few weeks in this Director of Care, Quality and Compliance role, you can expect to:

  • Take a proactive leadership role to strengthen and enhance models of care across the group within the regulatory framework of the Care Quality Commission
  • Assist in development and training, ensuring that quality and compliance is adopted at all levels of the organisation
  • Oversee and advise colleagues in discharging their responsibilities by ensuring the organisation has an appropriately skilled and experienced Senior Leadership Team
  • Establish the lead role for ensuring appropriate quality governance, assurance and reporting mechanisms are in place to provide assurance both internally and externally on the organisation's regulatory compliance and responsibilities



To apply for this Director of Care, Quality and Compliance role, you will need to be educated to degree level or equivalent qualification or experience (essential). You will also require the following:

  • Extensive experience working in a CQC regulated environment
  • Demonstrable evidence of change management
  • Evidence of working across a range of care homes, eg Care Homes, Domiciliary Care, and Supported Accommodation
  • Significant experience of working knowledge of commissioning environment, current funding and national drivers as it relates to health and social care
