Quality Engineer! Location: West Drayton Salary: £47,000 negotiable plus benefits Reporting to: Quality Manager Are you a skilled Quality Engineer with a strong understanding of APQP and the ability to interpret technical drawings? An exciting opportunity waits for you to join this leading specialist plumbing company in West Drayton. Be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: " Utilize the most effective quality tools to solve non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement continuous improvement. " Investigate reported non-conformances internally and externally from customer complaints. " Apply your understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and change point control management. " Work cross-functionally with other departments to resolve concerns and promote quality. " Prepare quality system documentation including Quality Control Plans (QCP), flow charts, Quality Audit (QA) plans, procedures, and instructions. " Interpret technical drawings and measure components to ensure they meet allowable specification limits. " Support the internal audit program to ISO 9001 (advantageous). " Perform any other reasonable actions required for the effective function of the Quality Department or the Company as a whole. " Comply with all current work instructions and health, safety & environmental regulations within the company. Knowledge, Skills & Expertise: " Analytical and critical thinking skills. " Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Required/Preferred Qualifications/Education: " Undergraduate degree or higher national diploma in Engineering or similar, or equivalent relevant experience.
