Quality Engineer This is a great opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join a leading construction contractor and work on some exciting construction projects across the Reading area of England, to be based on site working on architectural & fit out projects. Key responsibilities for this Quality Engineer role: • Providing accurate and timely guidance to the project team to ensure quality excellence • Ensure that processes are adhered to throughout the project using the right tools, materials and processes • Plan, conduct and manage regular audits and inspections. • Report on quality performance metrics to support project progress • Build and maintain good working relationships with client and contractor quality teams. • Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance. Experience required for this Quality Engineer role: • Membership of the CQI or working towards membership • Experience with using quality tools and techniques. • Quality Assurance / Quality Control / Quality Auditor experience • Experience of working within the construction industry. • Knowledge of industry standards and best practice (e.g. ISO 9001, 14001, ISO 45001 etc). • CSCS card • Security Clearance (SC) - UKSV (Vetting Service) – Previous security clearance would be advantageous.
