Location: London (primary location), but also open to candidates based in Edinburgh and Halifax Salary: London: £71,577-79,530 per annum Outside London: £61,911-68,790 per annum Benefits also include: Annual personal bonus percentage; Employer pension contribution (up to 15%); 4% flexible cash pot; private medical insurance, and; 30 days holiday plus bank holidays; We offer flexible working hours around the 9-5 and are a very family friendly company.

About our team An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Channels Enabling Platform, where the Identity and Authentication Lab provides an enterprise level Authentication service.

The Platform needs to meet the Strong Customer Authentication regulatory commitments, enable innovation to help lead into the bank of the future, and to trailblaze within the industry.

The Platform will support and grow a wide range of authenticators to serve the Bank's digital channels.

About the role Joining us as a Quality Engineer, you'll drive quality software solutions into production.

You'll be continually challenged, motivated, and help define "Done" from a Quality perspective.

You will ensure we deliver Test solutions in line with the Test Strategy and help define our QA Engineering principles.

This role will be working on driving future technology strategy for the group, including focusing on cloud technologies and automation to ensure our position in the market remains strong through our ability to adapt with pace.

This role will also involve an element of line management, and you should be able to demonstrate a passion for empowering, leading, and mentoring people and influencing strategy.

About you We like people who come from diverse industry and cultural backgrounds that can bring new and challenging ways of thinking to the team.

We'd also like you to be able to demonstrable experience and provide examples / working knowledge of the following: Experienced Quality Engineer with a proven track-record of QA delivery, including Public and Private Cloud with experience in both manual and automated testing.

Ability to manage multiple streams of application delivery through end-to-end testing including NFT, Security & LUAT phases.

Experience with toolsets including Selenium, Cucumber, X Ray for Jira, Postman, Saucelabs, Jenkins, CA Lisa, GIT HUB / CI Pipeline Integration, Power BI and experience of using a BDD framework, JavaScript, Java.

Experienced in being able to apply previously acquired knowledge to define test strategies and able to demonstrate different test approaches based on previous knowledge of process, application, and resource availability
- an ability to face into issues and think outside the box.

Proven experience and ability to coordinate and lead teams across multiple locations.
