This position is ideal for an experienced quality management professional with a background in manufacturing or construction, preferably on Nuclear projects. The role would suit someone who is detail-oriented, has a strong understanding of ISO standards, and is passionate about promoting a culture of safety and quality. The ability to travel frequently and communicate effectively with various stakeholders is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in defining and implementing project-specific quality standards.
- Ensure manufacturing and construction processes meet established quality requirements.
- Manage the quality assurance of manufacturing activities including required NDT and dimensional checks.
- Ensure compliance to ISO 19443 & ISO 9001.
- Maintain Nuclear Safety culture.
- Serve as the primary contact for all project-related quality aspects.
- Conduct regular performance monitoring and report on project KPIs.
- Provide training and guidance to teams on quality standards and company policies.
Requirements:
- Proven Quality Management experience within Nuclear.
- Eligible for SC Clearance (existing SC Clearance desirable).
- Knowledge of Welding & NDT.
- Knowledge of ISO 19443 & ISO 9001.
Location: Bristol (with some travel)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £65k - £70k+ (negotiable - dependent on experience)
+ accommodation allowance & expenses
Working Hours: Full Time - Mon-Fri - 37.5 hrs per week
Benefits: 25 days holiday + BH, 8% and above combined pension, sick pay, 4 x death in service, travel expenses, training opportunities.
