Senior Biomedical Scientist specialising in Quality Management Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital | Pathology | Fixed-term contract (1 year) | Full time | Up to £41,000.00 per annum, depending on experience 37.5 hours per week We value expertise at Nuffield Health. Our highly motivated and talented Pathology team will appreciate your 'can do' attitude as you deliver quality pathology services and take a share of covering an on-call service out of hours. You'll enjoy a varied range of responsibilities - from performing biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation and reporting, through to quality control and keeping records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables. What's more, you'll help us to validate and assess new equipment and develop new diagnostic procedures, as part of our ongoing quest to deliver the very best experience possible for patients. It is essential you're registered with the HCPC and have relevant laboratory experience in Haematology, Chemistry and Blood Transfusion biomedical science. You'll bring to the role good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of multi-disciplinary techniques. A great communicator and team player, you understand how vital it is to maintain good customer relationships and provide high levels of service in a modern pathology laboratory. As our Quality Manager you will: Oversee the Quality Management system for the department. Undertake or supervise audits in a timely manner. Complete audit CAPA's and RCA's EQA/IQC review Reagent Management To succeed as a Quality Manager, you will need: At least 3 years experience as a state registered Biomedical Scientist Experience in Quality Management Systems.
