Job Description

As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the organisation's quality management system and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system to meet ISO/TS standards and customer requirements.
  • Establish and maintain quality control processes, including the documentation and implementation of quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection methods.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality improvement opportunities and develop action plans to address them.
  • Lead the investigation and resolution of customer complaints and quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
  • Manage and maintain the organisation's internal and external quality documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and quality records.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on quality-related matters, including training and development initiatives.
  • Interface with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to address quality concerns and facilitate effective communication.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and changes in quality standards and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quality Manager in the automotive sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO/TS quality standards and requirements.
  • Strong understanding of automotive quality control methods, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Experience in conducting audits, inspections, and managing customer complaints.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and tools is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using quality management software and tools.
  • Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field is preferred.
