Job summary BPAS is an independent healthcare charity that has been advocating and caring for women and couples for over 55 years, supporting over 100,000 women annually across more than 50 healthcare clinics nationwide.Following significant organisational change and the establishment of a new Executive Leadership structure, we are looking for a Quality & Patient Experience Lead to join the Senior Operational Team.In this role, you will play a central role in delivering robust clinical leadership and ensuring the effective and efficient provisionof services to both clinical users and patients.As the Quality & Patient Experience Lead, you will be involved in direct line management of the Quality Matrons and the Patient Experience Manager, guiding them in setting objectives, monitoring performance, and addressing development needs. You will act as a deputy to the Deputy Chief of Nursing & Midwifery when required, providing operational and clinical leadership across the Directorate. Your role involves fostering a learning environment, leading performance and quality review programmes, and supporting the implementation of clinical quality and regulatory standards.Working from home with travel required to our Head Office in Leamington Spa and BPAS units when required. This is for 36 hours per week over Monday to Friday. Main duties of the job Lead and participate in performance, quality, and safety reviews, ensuring care is delivered by skilled staff while addressing Nursing Quality metrics, priorities, and KPIsAct as deputy to the Deputy Chief of Nursing& Midwifery when requiredOffer clinical leadership by serving as aprofessional and visible role model for all nursing, midwifery, and Advanced Clinical Practitioner(ACP) staffOversee investigations into complaints, incidents, and safeguarding, collaborating to implement follow-up actions and learning outcomesIdentifyand pursue opportunities for change that enhance clinical practice, leading toimprovements in quality and efficiency within the functionParticipate in relevant research and developmentactivity within and external to ensure the engagement of all nurses and alliedhealth professionalsAbout YouWe are seeking a registered healthcare professional with active NMC or HCPC registration. You'll be educated with a masters degree or equivalent experience, complemented by substantial senior managerial experience, ideally within womens healthcare. You should possess a strong track record in managing quality governance, leading change, and delivering services that align with both national and local standards. Your leadership will be characterised by compassion, effective communication, and a commitment to service improvement.
