Job Description
Job Duties:
To manage the budget and contractual relationships of the companies' projects
Ensure
all projects and sub-contracts are kept in line with programme and tendered budgets
Identify
and weigh up all commercial risks
Manage
budgets and overseeing payment and ensure all projects reach the correct standards.
Provide weekly and monthly data to meet KPI's,
monitoring
and reporting on trends to inform the business
Any other duties assigned in line with the scope and seniority of the role
Required Qualifications:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS) is preferred.
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quantity Surveying.
Strong knowledge of construction industry practises and processes.
Excellent numerical and financial management skills.
Proficiency in relevant software applications.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Quantity Surveying.
Experience working on environmental and waste projects.
Understanding of the current NEC 3 and NEC 4 contracts
Negotiation skills and evidence-based reporting
Working Conditions:
Office-based work with occasional site visits.
Full-time hours, with potential for overtime during project deadlines.
Travel may be required to visit project sites.
