Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Kensington, London Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum benefits package Future Build Recruitment have teamed up with a leading general main contractor who are searching for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a flagship project in Kensington worth in excess of £30m. The project consists of the full internal and external refurbishment of high-rise tower blocks, with a duration of minimum 2.5 years. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior surveyors to monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and identifying potential cost savings. Support the procurement process by assisting in the preparation of tender documents, evaluating bids, and recommending suitable contractors. Administration of contracts, including the review and negotiation of contractual terms, change orders, and variations. Analyze and interpret data related to voids projects, providing insights and recommendations for process improvement and cost-effectiveness. Identify potential risks and challenges associated with voids projects, proposing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and project teams, to facilitate effective communication and project coordination. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including cost reports, quantity surveys, and project progress reports.
