With over 8 years of consistent growth, we are now seeking to fill key positions within our organisation.
Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator. The ideal candidate will be ambitious and will have the opportunity to progress into a senior role for the company. The ideal candidate will be well versed in all aspects of estimating Drylining projects including SFS, Partitions, Ceilings, Plastering etc. Responsibilities will include estimating, finding tender opportunities, cost control, BOQ preparation, cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting. The role will involve working predominantly in our Birmingham city centre office with some flexibility for remote work arrangements.
Qualifications
- Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Reporting skills
- BOQ (Bill of Quantities) preparation and Cost Planning skills
- Experience in quantity surveying and estimating
- Strong Drylining background/experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools
- Ideally relevant professional certifications (e.g., RICS) and qualifications in Quantity Surveying or related field
