This role is based in the United Kingdom and as such all normal working days must be carried out in the United Kingdom.
Join us as Head of Technology in Trustee Depositary Services
- We’re looking for someone with real influence and good organisational skills to lead us to agreed targets
- You’ll be delivering, owning and maintaining the platform’s operational stability and performance technology
- You’ll be able to really make this role your own, allowing excellent exposure for you and your work
We’ll be asking you to own the remediation of technical issues and the simplification and improvement of the platform architecture and technology. You’ll build the platform roadmap, working with the centres of excellence to make sure you have the right the resources. On top of this, you’ll use your expertise to make sure that business solutions are optimised for our customers’ needs and the overall technology strategy.
You’ll also be:
- Taking ownership of the financial, commercial and flow performance of the platform
- Managing the platform risk culture, making sure that teams effectively collaborate to mitigate risk
- Delivering the regulatory reporting and managing the relevant budgets provided
In this role, you’ll need to have in-depth domain or platform product knowledge and experience. Operational risk management, financial management, collaboration and negotiation are all important elements of this role, as is strong commercial acumen with an acute understanding of the business landscape. And, if you have experience across custody, depositary or fund administration, this would be an advantage, although not essential.
You’ll also be expected to have:
- Previous experience of designing the architecture road map and vision of a technology team to lead digital transformation
- Experience in rolling out cloud based platforms
- Previous experience of leading high performing technology platform teams, and knowledge of Agile and servant leadership techniques
- Architecture, design and engineering skills, relevant to the specific platform
- A background of directly engaging with external clients and regulators to articulate the technology vision and upsell opportunities
