Job Title:
Radio Field Engineer
Location:
London - NW10 area
Salary:
Circa £50k, plus a company vehicle, phone, laptop, overtime, and overnight pay for visiting clients sites.
The Role:
You'll be designing, deploying, and maintaining radio communication systems working with digital radio and associated software/hardware to ensure reliable and efficient communication across various platforms. You’ll also be contributing to the development of innovative radio transmissions based on project requirements.
- RF site surveys to determine layouts and conduct analysis for efficient communication.
- Network configuration and maintenance.
- Testing and evaluation.
- Documentation.
- Security and compliance.
- Collaboration and communication.
Essential Skills:
- Software Defined Radio Engineers (SDR)
- Radio Frequency (RF) Planning and Optimization
- Broadband Push-to-Talk (BBPTT)
- Strong understanding of RF principles, spectrum analysis, and network protocols
You would need to have knowledge of:
- Body worn cameras
- Digital 2-way radios push-to-talk apps & software solutions (smart devices)
- Satellite communications devices
- Other RF devices
