Full time post 37.5 hours

We are looking for a Radiographer to join our team at the Yorkshire Clinic.

This post is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated, a good team player who desires to ensure the delivery of a high quality imaging service and has a good awareness and prioritises patient safety.

As a Radiographer in our busy Diagnostic Department, you will be part of a close knit innovative team.  The successful applicant will have an enthusiastic outlook to ensure the delivery of a high quality diagnostic imaging service.  

The Yorkshire Clinic supported by Ramsay Diagnostics provides an excellent training package for those who want to enhance their skills. At The Yorkshire Clinic, we offer a wide range of diagnostics; we have a static MRI, CT and an angio cath. There is opportunity for radiographers to progress in there carer in developing skills and knowledge in a wide range of modalities. What you will have

  • BSc Diagnostic radiographer

  • Health and Care Professions Council Registration

  • For the Band 5 Radiographer role we are looking for an at least 12 month experience in acute hospital setting

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate excellent clinical practice at all times and to be accountable for own action

  • Prioritise workloads effectively.

  • Undertake a wide range of imaging examinations as per the department's technique protocols contributing towards the key service objectives of the Imaging Department.

  • You will undertake a variety of examinations including general radiography, fluoroscopy, theatre and US

  • Make efficient use of available resources with regard to business objectives

  • Assess, plan and evaluate care, based on individual patient needs

  • Work within a MDT to maximise effectiveness of service delivery, the team includes; Consultants, Allied Health Professionals, RMO, Nurses, Healthcare assistants, and Administration Staff.

  • Respect and ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

  • Proficient computing skills

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills (RIS PACs)
