Start Date: Immediate start for the right candidate We are seeking a motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading construction company working on a range of education sector projects in the Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile developments, including new builds, refurbishments, and extensions within the education space. The role requires a candidate with a solid understanding of construction cost management and the ability to ensure projects are delivered within budget and time constraints. Manage all aspects of the commercial process, from pre-construction through to final account * Preparation and submission of interim valuations and final accounts * Ensure accurate cost reporting and forecasting, ensuring projects are kept within budget * Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations * Liaise with project teams to ensure effective communication and coordination * Conduct risk analysis and value management to optimize project value * Ensure compliance with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry, ideally with exposure to education projects * Knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts and construction law * Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness * Experience with cost management software and MS Office applications A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field * Competitive salary package of £55,000 per annum * Opportunity to work on prestigious education projects * Career development opportunities within a dynamic and supportive team Immediate start is available for the right candidate
