Currently, they are seeking a talented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team, focusing on, being Commercial Lead on upcoming projects. Quantity Surveyor Overview As a Quantity Surveyor you will be taking projects from initial calculations to final figures. you will seek to minimize project costs and enhance value for money while ensuring that project standards and legal regulations are met. Key responsibilities include preparing cost estimates, budgeting, risk management, contract administration, and advising on procurement strategies. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in cost management software are essential for this role. Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets. Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure budget compliance. Develop and manage tender documents, contracts, and procurement processes. Administer contracts, including managing variations, claims, and disputes. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Track, report, and provide financial progress updates to stakeholders. Prepare valuations, process progress payments, and certify completed work. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the project. Quantity Surveyor Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role within the construction industry. Professional certification such as MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent is preferred.
