We distribute our ratings via our SaaS Product, BeZero Carbon Markets, informing all market participants on how to price and manage risk. Our ratings and research tools support buyers, intermediaries, investors and carbon project developers.
Founded in April 2020, our 150+ strong team combines climatic and earth sciences, sell-side financial research, earth observation, machine learning, data and technology, engineering, and public policy expertise. We work from four continents.
Having raised a significant Series B funding round in late 2022, we are rapidly growing as a company, accelerating the Net-Zero transition through ratings.

Job Description
We are looking for a Ratings Editor. This pivotal role connects our ratings analysis with our customers and users. They will sit in our marketing and editorial team, working closely day to day with our ratings team of carbon ratings analysts.
The role itself will involve:
●Maintaining and improving written editorial standards of our ratings analysis
●Identifying key pieces of analysis and the conclusions our Carbon Ratings team are drawing, subsequently ensuring clear and effective communication to customers (who often are unfamiliar with Carbon Credits)
●Copy editing, proofreading, amendments, and line-editing of communications
●Partnering closely with the Ratings team to ensure the development of clear and accurate writing. This will include:
●Building an understanding of the project that’s being rated
●Building a dialogue with Analysts to understand their work
●Helping to develop and execute writing training and best practices for analytical team
●Business Partner to the wider Ratings team & BeZero business areas. Stakeholders will include; Chief Ratings Officer, Director of Ratings Operations, and interaction with the marketing and research teams.
●Continuous monitoring and updating of analysis from early launch
