Our products and system solutions enable energy-efficient, healthy, climate-friendly and affordable living.As a Raw Materials Controller at our Sandtoft site, you will manage our factory-based Site Services Team with responsibility for the maintenance of site standards, inclusive of specified contractors and activities under the Site Services remit (inclusive of ownership for COSHH responsibilities on site). You will lead and drive improvement projects and processes to drive improvement initiatives, and deliver benefits to Health and Safety, quality, cost and environment with the aim to become a continuous improvement process expect.About the RoleWe will provide you with full training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to enable you to safely and effectively work as Raw Materials Controller where you will: Ensure all raw materials, consumables and consolidated stock are cycle counted in accordance with our Policy; maintaining information and documentation required for reporting and auditability purposesConduct and control ordering of raw materials ensuring production schedules, lead times and safety stock holding are considered to maintain sufficient and adequate raw materials and consumable stocks Arrangement / management of goods receipts and all internal / external Plant to Plant transfers in SAPEffectively manage local stock holdings of consumable items used in production, working closely with the Operations team to ensure that they have sufficient supplies of consumablesMonitor raw material usage and work with the teams to identify ways of improving yield/reducing wastage of key raw material itemsWork closely with procurement to discuss any supply chain issues with raw materials; escalating any issues identifiedEnsure waste / empty containers and packaging materials are disposed of correctly to ensure costs are managed effectively and waste routes are as efficient as possibleEncourage and attribute to an environment of continuous improvementProvide cover for the QA function on site when requiredHours of Work: to Monday to FridayAbout YouMinimum of 3 years experience working in a manufacturing / high production environment with a safety-first culture (safety is our biggest priority, so you’ll be committed to safe working and have good general safety awareness)Minimum 1 year leadership experiencePrior experience of stock control, stock counting, raw material ordering processesIT skills – working knowledge of MS Word, Excel & OutlookStrong organisational & planning abilitiesA high level of attention to detailAbility to lead a team to drive improvements Prior experience SAP or similar ERP systemsPrior experience of COSHH systems and processesKnowledge of CI processes and toolsFlexible and able to adapt to the different daily priorities in the factory which help us run efficientlyAbout our BenefitsWeekly payAverage yearly salary is £35, (inclusive of allowances/bonuses)Overtime available to boost your earning potentialTraining and opportunities to grow your career with usCompany PensionSIP – ability to become a shareholder via our Share SchemeLife AssuranceFlexible benefits offering (including health, wellbeing and money saving opportunities)So what are you waiting for?
