We are currently recruiting for a R&D Director to lead our fantastic Europe R&D team. You will play a key role in the delivery of our ambitious growth agenda, by embedding new capabilities, establishing new ecosystems with partners and ensuring that R&D is at the centre of decision making.

• collaborate to create an innovation pipeline that fuels our growth
• hire, retain and develop talent, building a culture of entrepreneurial, smart risk-taking innovation, where we celebrate failures and learnings and launch quickly, but with excellence
• establish, maintain, and leverage strategic external network of suppliers that will co-develop against our pipeline to accelerate the goals of the business
• create go-to-market solutions that deliver product efficiently via multiple distribution platforms
• utilise innovative and critical thinking skills to design solutions to organisational challenges
• tackle ambiguous problems to determine and prioritise business strategies
• utilise outstanding teamwork, collaboration, communication and leadership skills to deliver cross functional projects on time and on budget
• develop and implement short and long-term strategies to support our organisational operation and transformation

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in R&D leadership roles in FMCG, with experience operating as part of a cross functional leadership team. University qualification in Food Science, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred. Being motivated by a fast paced, dynamic and high growth environment is essential.

The role location is flexible and will require frequent travel to our R&D team based in Cork (Ireland) and Zeebrugge (Belgium), and our HQ in Farringdon, London.
