Job Purpose
You will support and direct R&D activities in one or more of the following areas; developing new products and technologies or developing a fundamental understanding of key coating attributes or possibly testing/supporting existing technologies, products and processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Use best practice/past solutions to design, develop, carry-out, evaluate & interpret experiments.
- Contribute to test method development.
- Plan, conduct and evaluate trials.
- Prepare formulation/technology transfer packages.
- Make recommendations for next steps & communicate key results to colleagues.
- Work safely & comply with legal & company regulations.
- Manage the effective planning and day to day requirements for assigned projects and support activities.
- Developing fundamental understanding of key coating and technology attributes
Job Requirements
- PhD, Masters or BSc degree or equivalent in Chemistry or similar
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Committed to following processes & procedures.
- Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key.
- Understands the importance of keeping a safe working environment.
