Job Purpose

You will support and direct R&D activities in one or more of the following areas; developing new products and technologies or developing a fundamental understanding of key coating attributes or possibly testing/supporting existing technologies, products and processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Use best practice/past solutions to design, develop, carry-out, evaluate & interpret experiments.
  • Contribute to test method development.
  • Plan, conduct and evaluate trials.
  • Prepare formulation/technology transfer packages.
  • Make recommendations for next steps & communicate key results to colleagues.
  • Work safely & comply with legal & company regulations.
  • Manage the effective planning and day to day requirements for assigned projects and support activities.
  • Developing fundamental understanding of key coating and technology attributes

Job Requirements

  • PhD, Masters or BSc degree or equivalent in Chemistry or similar
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Committed to following processes & procedures.
  • Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key.
  • Understands the importance of keeping a safe working environment.
