Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading UK in-house pension fund. The company requires a Real Assets Accountant for a 12-month FTC who will play an instrumental role in their upcoming outsourcing project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day accounting processes for the Real Asset Portfolio.
- Lead on the reconciliation of outsourcing across 2 operating models.
- Assist in managing external auditors and work with property managers and outsourced administrators to ensure information is passed on in a timely and accurate manner.
- Build strong relationships with the Real Assets Team, delivering monthly, quarterly and any ad hoc reports and attending meetings when required.
- Review accounting policies and procedures across the portfolio to assess performance and implement improvements where necessary.
Candidate Profile:
- ACA / ACCA qualified accountant or equivalent.
- 3+ years’ post-qualified experience working with property funds (Pooled, Infrastructure LTFs & SPVs).
- Recent experience working under FRS 102.
- Knowledge of Yardi & SUN.
- Analytical and problem-solving self-starter.
