Our client has played a key role inoverseeing and financing successful deals totaling over £15 billion.With 25 years of experience in investments both within and beyond realestate, they have a strong track record of success.

They haveestablished a Private Equity Real Estate Investment Business with asignificant initial fund. They aim to invest this amount over atwo-year period, with the ability to target various asset classes andinvest across different levels of the capital structure.

The Role

They arelooking for an Asset Manager that will represent the same hard-workingethos of the team. This individual will play a crucial role inexecuting business plans for existing assets. You will be creative inyour thinking and have the ability to set strategy and then execute onthat strategy. You will work closely with a small team of reputable,high-caliber professionals and have a significant impact on thecompany’s success. This entrepreneurial environment offers theopportunity to take on substantial responsibility early in yourcareer.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and report on financing needs for thecurrent portfolio.
  • Oversee capital expenditure across theportfolio, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Provide detailed advice on refurbishment costs to support thebusiness plan.
  • Develop asset management strategies, assessrisks, and recommend effective mitigation measures.
  • Negotiatenew leases, rent reviews, and lease renewals with tenants.
  • Collaborate with property managers to ensure smooth operationof existing assets.
  • Manage cash flow for properties in theportfolio and update the financial model as needed.
  • Work withagents to facilitate the disposal of assets once the business plan isfulfilled.
  • Prepare and oversee planning applications forrefurbishment and development projects.
  • Appoint and manageexternal professional teams such as planning, agency, architecture,and cost consultancy.

Requirements

  • Understanding of real estateinvestment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in assetmanagement.
  • Ability to handle multiple diverse developmentprojects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong negotiation skillswith the ability to address objections effectively.
  • Highlyorganised, detail-oriented, and goal-focused.
  • Hardworking and proactive approach.
