About Our Client

Our client is a well-established international real estate investor-developer with a strong UK presence. They have a demonstrable track record in delivering exciting mixed-use projects with several significant commercial buildings in redevelopment phase in London.

Job Description

  • Reporting to two members of the Senior Leadership Team in London, the Real Estate Asset Manager will be responsible for implementing asset management initiatives across the commercial portfolio.
  • Core to this is the strategy and management of leasing initiatives in retail / F&B units:
    • Managing leasing agency partners and their marketing activities and expressions of interest.
    • Taking a strategic view in the selection process for best-fit Tenants to complement a scheme's goals.
  • The Asset Manager will also be responsible for the wider day-to-day Estate management aspect of the portfolio including the HQ building, being the key point of contact with all Tenants, Property Managers and Advisors.
  • Preparation of internal asset management presentations, slide decks and support materials as well as all necessary reporting requirements.
  • Overseeing all asset management initiatives and L&T events.
  • Day to day management of all relevant appointed third-party consultants.
  • Strategic management of Tenants and their expectations during phased developments, being on-hand to ensure a smooth process.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Real Estate Asset Manager will have:

  • 2-5 years post MRICS qualification experience in commercial real estate asset management.
  • Real Estate (or Built Environment) degree.
  • Agility and pro-active approach - ability to resolve issues swiftly with a positive commercial outcome.
  • Excellent relationship management / Tenant engagement skills, ideally with high-touch experience with premium brands, food & beverage, leisure and hospitality operators and their exacting standards.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a close-knit team.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of how asset management initiatives play into the wider success of an Investor-Developer portfolio and reputation to deliver.
  • Excellent timekeeping and project management skills.
  • Ability to present both verbally and in written reports.
