Job Description

Our customer, a multinational law firm is seeking a Real Estate Disputes Lawyer for a 6-month engagement. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the UK real estate sector, particularly with issues concerning commercial property. Location: London (Hybrid or Fully Remote after Initial Team Meeting; On-site Team Meeting Required Monthly) Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 Months (Full-Time Preferred; Open to 3-4 Days Per Week for the Right Candidate) Key Responsibilities: Address a broad range of issues related to commercial property, including but not limited to: Building Safety Act 2022 compliance Disputes concerning fire defects, such as defective cavity barriers and cladding Base build defects, including RAAC issues Contract disputes Break options Consent applications Service charge disputes Dilapidations Nuisance issues Debt recovery Contested and uncontested lease renewals Experience Required: Demonstrated expertise in the UK real estate sector, particularly with commercial property matters In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation, including the Building Safety Act 2022 Proven track record in handling complex disputes and issues related to commercial property Experience with a wide range of property-related concerns, from fire safety defects to lease renewals About Elevate Elevate provides consulting, technology and services to law departments and law firms across the globe.
