Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Real Estate Finance Solicitor, who would be interested in the opportunity to join their fast-developing finance team in their Manchester office.
The team have worked on the largest ever single office financing deal in the UK. This role provides the opportunity to work with partners in the team, and also work closely with the London office.
The role will allow candidates to work on a range of deals, encompassing both lender and sponsor activity with exposure to cross-jurisdictional work including pan-European. The team acts for domestic and international clients, developers, real estate trusts and funds on all aspects of real estate investment, financing, and development. This role includes exposure to a range of asset classes, notably offices, student accommodation, hotels, healthcare, build to rent, logistics and life sciences. It also includes drafting and negotiating the finance documentation and related conditions precedent, and liaising with colleagues with real estate, construction or tax expertise who will provide the due diligence and other support on those aspects.
Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate:
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales
- Possessing 2-6 years’ PQE
- Relevant Real Estate Finance experience
- Experience gained with notable City or International Firms or top tier regional practises
- Good interpersonal and consultancy skills
- Good ability to develop close links with clients
