A rapidly growing company in London wanted to create a Chief Revenue Officer role to help build on the great start they had made. The problem was that the CMO saw it as part of his job so although the CEO had told him to hire the role he was doing everything he could to spike the hire with a mixture of active and passive resistance. Loana knew she would have to find the "Michael Jordan" of CROs to negate the objections the CMO would inevitably raise. She tapped her network up Europe wide and eventually found a real rock star working for a startup in Berlin. This guy was so off the scale good that even the CMO was won over and he was rapidly hired and became a really important part of the company's leadership team.

An eCommerce company in New York were running into technical constraints with their technology platform and could not find anyone for love nor money locally that had the will and the skill to fix them. They approached Loana after finding GRO.TEAM on the web and asked for help. The tech the company were using was not mainstream to say the least it wasn't the easiest of briefs. Loana found out the there happened to be a Meetup for users of technology later in the week so she went to it. At the Meetup she met a real expert who was happy to provide remote support for the New Yorkers.
