Job Description

My client is a leading and award-winning law firm with an impressive client base, who are looking to recruit a Recruitment Coordinator who will report into the Senior Recruitment Manager on a maternity cover FTC, based in London.

The Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for the administration and support across both Business Services and Fee Earner recruitment. This will be a varied role and is a fantastic opportunity. The role is to support the Senior Recruitment Advisors and Senior Recruitment Manager within the wider team.

The key duties will include:

  • Engaging with recruitment agents, candidates and internal stakeholders as and when required and managing the Recruitment team’s inbox on behalf of the team
  • Arranging and attending agency briefings and events (internal and external) as appropriate, including putting together and collating briefing documents
  • Updating and advertising all job descriptions
  • Updating social media content and posting roles to job boards. Using LinkedIn and other networking sites
  • Accurately updating, maintaining, and reviewing MI data from applicant tracking system (ATS) including creating new vacancies on the system, managing candidates through the recruitment process, closing the roles once the jobs are filled
  • Processing applications via the ATS and sharing with hiring managers to ensure compliance of data from a GDPR perspective
  • Liaising with all hiring managers and partners stakeholders, candidates and recruitment agents, to arrange interviews and assessment centres, including booking meeting rooms and relevant venues for interviews
  • Managing the pre-employment checking process with our third party provider or directly as required
  • Completing the relevant checklists, obtaining receipt of all signed offer documentation, as required for HR purposes
  • Managing the background screening process for all candidates through our external provider and the day to day relationship with the provider to ensure a seamless service
  • Collaborating with other departments to work on projects and presentations to support the wider business, e.g. employer brand, inclusion and diversity and salary review

The Candidate will have experience in a high-volume recruitment role with previous in-house agency experience desirable. The candidate will be proactive and professional with a knowledge of systems (Recruitment databases, excel, outlook). They will have exceptional communication skills and offer a personable and efficient approach to their workload. It is essential that the candidate has excellent attention to detail and can manage their own workload efficiently when working remotely, but also collaborate with the team and build strong relationships firm wide.
