Delighted to be recruiting for a Recruitment Manager/Talent Acquisition Manager for this well-established national law firm with circa 700 employees spread across multiple cities in the UK, where candidates are required to have experience recruiting into the legal sector (in-house or agency side) and strong experience of team management.

This role is very much a player/coach type role where the majority of your time will be spent managing the team and on strategic recruitment initiatives, whilst also managing your own req load for key hires across both the practice teams and Business Services.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leadership of a medium-sized team of recruiters spread across multiple offices
  • Drive talent acquisition both strategically and operationally
  • Lead the talent acquisition strategy to deliver a proactive recruitment model that identifies resource needs early with managers, builds direct sourced talent pipelines, develops innovative sourcing strategies, delivers a strong employee value proposition in the marketplace, and ensures a first-rate candidate experience
  • Own the responsibility for tracking and reporting on hiring metrics and will use this to guide improvements to processes
  • Prioritise direct recruitment whilst also making sure relationships are maintained with the right agencies
  • Work in conjunction with the Marketing and Comms teams to plan, execute and evaluate innovative recruitment marketing campaigns across various channels including social media and jobs boards
  • Optimise campaign performance by analysing metrics and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
  • Commitment to ongoing professional and personal development including self-awareness and self-reflection and continuous improvement

Candidate profile:

  • Proven Legal sector experience of experienced hires over a reasonable time frame
  • Proven people management experience
  • A commercially focused team member who is equally comfortable discussing budgetary information as with the delivery of senior technical roles
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent all round communication skills including the capability to develop and maintain strong client and candidate relationships

This firm is extremely well regarded by current and previous employees with a low turnover of staff, a progressive approach to work and a big focus on people's professional development and progression within the firm.
