The Role
As a Team Leader in our fast-paced Recruitment Delivery Centre, you’ll play a key role in making sure we exceed our clients’ expectations across a variety of recruitment projects.
Managing time and resources effectively you’ll motivate and guide your recruitment team - who might be doing anything from application screening to interviewing, providing feedback and making job offers - inspiring them to meet quality and productivity targets while feeling engaged and excited about their work.
We’ll look to you to build meaningful connections with each member of your team, aiding and supporting their development and performance, making you a role model for our organisation and our values. You’ll be a key contact for both our business and its clients but most importantly, you’ll be the go-to person for your team.
Some key parts of your role will include:
Coaching and inspiring your team to success, including conducting regular performance reviews and quality checks for your team
Supporting the set-up of new recruitment services as we grow with our client, including creating measures and metrics to set up teams for success
Overseeing the daily distribution of work within your team to achieve a timely, cost effective and accurate completion of the client’s recruitment process
Working closely with Operations Managers, Resource Planning, Recruitment Marketing, Assessment Services and other internal stakeholders
Championing our People and Learning & Development initiatives, including collaborating with our HR team to make sure that HR policies and procedures are communicated consistently to your team
Who we’re looking for
A motivator with a proactive approach, a flair for coaching, and ideally a background in or knowledge of recruiting, be that agency, in-house, RPO, or recruiting in your sector – hospitality, for example. Wherever it is, you’ve got what it takes to succeed in an ever-changing environment. Dedicated to delivering results through your team, you focus equally on candidate experience, service delivery and operational efficiency.
To thrive in this role, you’ll ideally need:
The ability to inspire, motivate and develop your team through proven team leadership skills
An understanding of quality assurance and an adeptness for providing constructive feedback to individual team members
To be comfortable working with your peer group of Team Managers, as well as your designated Recruitment Operations Manager, sharing best practices and experiences to benefit your team
To be proactive in the face of changing requirements, an effective planner who is able to prioritise
