Salary: £47,683-£52,426 (dependent on skills and experience)

What you'll be doing:

  • Assess the Typhoon Air Vehicle Engineering Note (TAVEN) provided by the SHM team to enable the correction of the aircraft lifting data within the Engineering Support System
  • Assess and produce Reference Data to recognised RDT processes and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with ITAR and EAR
  • Assist with Eurofighter and EPC queries
  • Support briefings to key stakeholders
  • Ensure all deliverables have been through appropriate review prior to submission
  • Support capability improvements
  • Support in-house and Customer/Supplier meetings
  • Assist with technical query answering

Your skills and experiences:

  • Good knowledge of Excel and Access toolsets
  • Knowledge of ESS (engineering support system)
  • Disciplined in their approach to recording findings
  • PLM (Teamcenter) experience

Typhoon Reference Data Team:

The Typhoon Reference Data Team (RDT) within Support Data Products (SDP) are responsible for supporting the Typhoon aircraft through the production, release and update of Engineering Support System (ESS) Business and Reference Data. The team works across various interfaces within the Typhoon Design, Manufacturing and Operator organisations including the Export Customers

This role requires a dynamic individual whose main responsibilities would focus on the delivery of corrected lifing data through applying the Structural Health Monitoring Refinement process as well as assessment, investigation and creation of Reference Data. The successful applicant will be meticulous with a good eye for detail and be disciplined in their approach to recording their findings.
