Regional Chef Do you want to use your skills and experience to support across the region? Helping colleagues, to ensure that all of our customers have the best catered for experience, is paramount to the service we deliver. Our bistro kitchens, like at home, are the heart of the village. The role of the Regional Chef will be to cover holidays, sickness and vacant chef hours across a region of 4 Belong villages.  You will already know how to ensure the smooth day to day running of the kitchen and catering services and most importantly be able to produce food that is delicious as well as nutritious and attractively presented. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, supervising kitchen staff and working alongside the Bistro & Catering manager. You will need to have an understanding of allergies and cooking for specialised diets. You will understand and comply with food safety regulations and standards. In addition, you will  maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment and lead by example in providing excellent hospitality to guests. You should have the kind of personality that wants to achieve at all times, and the skills to ensure that food is presented fresh, appetising and tasty every time. Applicants for this role will need access to a vehicle with valid business insurance and be able to commit to travel at short notice. The pay for this role is £12.90 p/h Travel between locations is paid at 45p per mile. Travel is in addition to your 39 hour per week; travel time is not classed as worked hours.
