Regional Director (North) - Asphalt
We are excited to announce an opening for a Regional Director (North) within our Asphalt division. This pivotal role will steer the strategic direction, operational excellence, and growth of our asphalt operations across the Northern region of the UK. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our asphalt business and contribute significantly to our mission of sustainable construction.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the regional business strategy for the asphalt division, aligning with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
- Lead and inspire your team to achieve commercial growth andexpand our market share whilst maintaining a focus on safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Design and implement a strategy thatidentifies and capitalises on market opportunities, ensuring profitability and market share expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and develop sustainable asphalt solutions that meet our customer's needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and community representatives, to enhance business development.
- Champion the company's commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship in every aspect of the asphalt division’s operations.
Who We Are Looking For
You are an established and visionary leader with a solid track record ofdelivering business growth, operational excellence, and strategic development. You have previously managed a sizeable P&L and contributed significantly to growth in a challenging market.
Whilst industry experience is a benefit, we are keen to hear from senior leaders from a range of related heavy industries with experience of growing a business.
You will need to have strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common objectives. You will lead by example and champion strategic customer relations and business development activity.
You will have excellent stakeholder management skills, with a knack for building and maintaining strong business relationships.
