Regional Health and Safety Manager
Southern and Central England (Homebased with travel)
Salary: £55,000 to £60,000 + Car Allowance and Excellent Benefits
Irwin and Colton are pleased to have been engaged by a FTSE 100 real estate organisation who are looking to recruit a Regional Health and Safety Manager. The organisation holds a multi-million-pound property portfolio including a range of high and low rise residential properties across the UK.
The role will be home based with weekly travel to sites across Southern and Central England and will report into the Head of Health and Safety with one direct report.
Responsibilities of the Regional Health and Safety Manager will include:
- Helping to ensure sites are fully compliant with both UK legislation and the company strategy for health and safety.
- Providing expert health and safety advice to operational teams both internal and external.
- Providing line management, leadership and coaching for a Health and Safety Advisor.
- Supporting the regular review of the health and safety management system to ensure standards are met.
The successful Regional Health and Safety Manager will have:
- Proven experience in a similar multisite organisation, ideally within property, facilities management or a similar environment
- NEBOSH Certificate is essential with NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) being desirable
- Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging clients, staff, and contractors both virtually and in person.
