Regional Sales Manager

MacGregor Black is thrilled to partner with a Leading Drinks business in their quest for a Regional Sales Manager. This exciting opportunity is a permanent role based within the Home Counties.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective strategies to drive profitability within your region, surpassing targets outlined in the UK business plan.
- Build and nurture a robust business pipeline through a blend of new customer acquisition and meticulous account management.
- Identify and engage with potential on-trade customers to expand the customer base, driving impactful sales and securing contracts.
- Foster and sustain strong relationships with on-trade customers, delivering exceptional service and support while proactively addressing any issues.
- Network with brand owners and distributor field sales teams to glean market insights and elevate trade awareness among key influencers and decision-makers.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitive dynamics to stay ahead of changes that may affect the on-trade sector, while providing regular reports on sales performance and market feedback.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams such as credit control, transport, and sales operations to uphold industry-leading levels of customer service.
What are we looking for?
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management within the on-trade sector.
- Strong familiarity with the bar scene in North England and Midlands, coupled with an extensive network of contacts.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Deep understanding of the on-trade market, including its trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to forge and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and adept problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
- Willingness to travel as necessary to meet customers and attend industry events.
Salary: £55k + benefits.
