Job Description
A key responsibility will include the developing and delivering the supply chain strategy and providing supplychain input to strategic commercial initiatives. You will be a key contact between the commercial teams, procurement and operations with a focus on improving processes, eliminating root cause problems and improving the overall performance of the supply chain.
Leading the supply chain, you will have responsibility for supply planning, materials planning and production scheduling. This will includebalancing demand and supply in the most optimal way, driving service, inventory, margin, and profit to target as well as managing the long-term capacity planning of raw material supply based on analysis of sales and raw material forecasting in close cooperation with Formulation, Procurement, Commercial, and Operations management, in order to support the long-term business planning.
As well as driving the execution of IBP, you will lead the monthly IBP cycle to maintain and continuously improve towards achieving a mature IBP process & cycle in cooperation with procurement and formulation teams.In managing continuous improvement, you will identify, benchmark and implement supply chain best practices to drive efficiency in all supply chain activities.
To succeed in this role, you will have experienceand qualifications in the field of supply chain, operations or technical engineering with knowledge of demand, supply and planning (IBP). Strong analytical skills with an advanced level of excel and ERP skills are essential. Working with key stakeholders across the business, you must be able to demonstrate good communicant skills. An excellent track record in managing and leading managers in the supply chain is an advantage. This role will require frequent travel between Belfast and Ashbourne.
