Have you ever considered working at Nottinghamshire Hospice but you dont have experience in palliative care?

If you have transferable skills, its time to think again!!!
Nottinghamshire Hospice offers staff the unique privilege to walk alongside patients and their families at this significant time of their lives while providing compassionate care and support. We deliver high-quality, excellent palliative care for patients across Nottinghamshire for those living with a life-limiting condition. We care for patients, families and their friends, both before and after death.
Most people are cared for in their own home & our goal is to help people make the most of their lives, in ways that are important to THEM. This care may sometimes include coming into the Hospice as part of our wellbeing and reablement offer.
You will work within a supportive multi-disciplinary team, in a professional service, making a real difference to the lives of patients and their families. Working in an environment where the patient is truly the centre of care, you will be part of a supportive and fun team where everyone is valued for their unique skills and experience. You do not need palliative care experience (although that would be great) as we offer a comprehensive induction package.

Our Hospice Night Support (HNS) Team provide a mobile service across Nottinghamshire and provide both planned & responsive visits to enable people to remain cared for in their own home (2 shift patterns: 7pm 4.30am and 9.30pm 7am). The successful post holder will work either shift pattern across the week, including weekends and bank holidays, on a planned rota basis.
